Year 6 - Consider Yourselves .. stars!
We are all sorry to see Year 6 move on to their respective schools, but they have enjoyed an excellent end of term.

We had a fabulous Sports Day recently, helped by the wonderful weather. The Infant morning was won by St Raphael and the Junior afternoon saw St Michael's come out on top. Thanks to the Parents' Society and caretakers for all their help. Check out the photos in our gallery.

St Pius chosen for Fire Safety pilot scheme
Year 6 pupils helped their local fire service to launch a brand new initiative about fire safety. Following a visit from the fire service, the children carried their knowledge home to share with their families. The children each received a certificate for their participation, as you can see from the photos.

During March, all the Year 6 children visited Ladyewell House to assist for 5 hours. Ladyewell has been there since 1685. The journey didn't take long at all and we were allocated parking in the nearby church. From there, we walked to Ladyewell which took about 10 minutes.

World Book Day
We celebrated World Book Day by having a visiting theatre group, who performed a wonderful version of Pinocchio. It was colourful, loud and had lots of songs - great entertainment.
