We had a special mass on Friday November 18th, to celebrate thirty years since the Ordination of Father Towers.
A former pupil of our school, Father Towers regularly hosts our Masses and we marked this occasion with a very special service followed by cake for everyone!

Harvest Cafod Service
The whole school enjoyed a lovely service to think about how we can help others. The pre-school children reminded us of our Harvest food by holding up fruit and pictures they had made. Junior Production of 'Joseph'
We are all sorry to see Year 6 move on to their respective schools, but they have enjoyed an excellent end of term.
The performance of Joseph revealed some very talented singers, actors and dancers. It was a show full of entertainment, colour and a few surprises!

St Pius X Summer Camp
Did you know that St Pius held a very successful Summer camp this year?
Children of all ages signed up to spend some of their summer holidays back in school! Activities on offer ranged from Art and Craft, Needlework, Food Technology, ICT skills, team games and Music.

Rocket World comes to St Pius
St Pius children were taken on an amazing journey around our World, courtesy of The International Society. We travelled to China, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Czech republic, Latvia, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Iraq and Kuwait .... all in a day!

Nursery Family Party
Oak House Nursery children, staff and parents enjoyed a wonderful family party evening recently.
There was a variety of entertainment for the little ones, ranging from a clown to face-painting .... and yummy party food! The dads from Great Oaks 1 and 2 even challenged each other to a game of football.

Congratulations to all those who performed in the Music Concert. There was a great variety of talent on show, ranging from violinists, drummers, pianists and the first ever St Pius rock band. Our school orchestra performed two of their songs to end the show.

What a lot of wierd and wonderful characters we had in school today. The children abandoned their caps and blazers in favour of dresses, wigs and eyepatches.
To celebrate World Book Day, the children chose a character from a book they had read and came to school dressed as that character.

There's a visit to the theatre with a witchy theme, followed by some sticky fingers making Pudsey biscuits for Children in Need.
