St Pius X Grand Reunion
WHAT A GRAND REUNION!
It was an evening for catching up with old school friends and reminiscing about their time at St Pius .... but we had no idea so many would turn up!
They were treated to a school full of familiar faces, photos from the past and a tour round, to relive those old memories. For many it was a surreal experience to sit in their old desk with their former teacher asking them questions again. But this time the questions were not mathematical, but were about their careers.
A wide range of paths had been selected by our past pupils. As well as many attending some of the country's major Universities, we had potential teachers, actors, electricians, lawyers and engineers! Every one of them looked back fondly at the foundation St Pius had given them. All agreed that it was still the place they remembered, now even better with the addition of the recent Music Suite and Nursery extensions.
It was a most enjoyable evening for all concerned and our first Grand Reunion had been a resounding success. The question on everyone's lips was 'When's the next one?'.
