On Friday Year 4 attended an Athletics Festival at Ashbridge School. They took part in numerous track and field events and had great team spirit when cheering on their fellow classmates. Year 4 worked very hard right up until the end; it was a great afternoon out. Athletics Festival

On Thursday 25th and Friday 26th April Year 6 children took part in the Lancashire County Council Bikeability Scheme. The children completed both Level 1 and Level 2 of their Bikeability training. The Infant trip to Legoland Discovery Centre was Legotastic! The children took part in lots of STEM activities and opportunities to use ICT to design and create their own models. There were mathematical challenges for staff and pupils to experience their creations and we even had time to have a disco dance.
The children in Year 6 have been learning about the Ancient Maya in their History lessons. Today they focussed on Maya foods. They made Ancient Maya hot chocolate and it was delicious! Why not give it a try for yourself.
