Year 5 Trip to Martin Mere

Year 5 Trip to Martin Mere

Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their recent visit to Martin Mere where they had the opportunity to get ‘hands-on’ with exploring more about plants in wetland habitats, thinking carefully about what happens to water in the ‘Water Cycle’ and also a chance to see a variety of birds from all over the world! This visit linked nicely into the Year 5 Geography and Science curriculum and the children all enjoyed getting very close to birds such as Flamingos, Moorhens and even East African Red-Crowned Cranes. Come and see the display in our classroom to see more photos and the work we’ve created since our visit!
