Fees and Community Award

Main School Fees: Reception to Year 6

(Please refer to the Nursery section under Funding for children aged 2-4)

School Fees with effect from September 2024

For the Academic Year 2024-25 

  Reception, Year 1 & Year 2         £8,682.00 per annum

  Year 3 & Year 4                            £9094.50 per annum

  Year 5 & Year 6                            £9343.50 per annum

These fees will cover: tuition, use of class text and library books, school stationery, scientific equipment, games apparatus and equipment, lunches, insurance, Forest School and Outdoor Education.

 

 Termly fees will be as follows: 

 Reception, Year 1 & Year 2         £2,894.00 per term

 Year 3 & Year 4                            £3,031.50 per term

 Year 5 & Year 6                            £3,114.50 per term

A 1.5% discount is applied to the annual fee if fees are paid in full by the start of the academic year.

 

 

Lunches
Included in the school fees above

 

Before/After School
Breakfast Sessions are provided from 7.30am until 8.10am at a cost of £3.50.
After School Facilities

After School Care is provided up to 6.00pm charged at £6.50. This facilility must be pre-booked and paid via the School's ParentPay platform.

Spaces are limited.  In exceptional circumstances or emergencies you must contact the office to book your child into After School Care (messages should not be left with teaching staff). 

Late pick up will incur a £25 fee for every part quarter-hour late.

We offer a number of free Co/Extra-curricular clubs
Some specialist clubs incur an additional charge per term (e.g. dance, individual music, speech & drama).

 

Travel Service
The School operates a pre-bookable service to and from Lancaster each morning and afternoon, charged at £3.00 per single trip. The School also operates a pre-bookable service to and from Preston Hospital each morning and afternoon, charged at £1.00 per single trip.

 

Registration
A non-refundable registration fee of £100.00 is payable at the time of registering any child at the school.
A deposit of £200.00 is required to secure a place in our Reception Class. The deposit is refunded if the child leaves St Pius X at the end of Year 6.

 

Payment of Fees
Fees are paid termly and fall due for payment before the first day of term.
All Payments must be made by BACS the school will no longer accept cheques.

 

Discounts/Vouchers
Sibling discounts are offered - applicable if one child is in the Main School (2nd child 5%, then 10% for 3 or more siblings).
Salary Sacrifice Scheme - we accept childcare vouchers as payment in respect of any extra-curricular activities and after-school care.

 

Notice
Parents are required to give a full term’s notice in writing if they wish to withdraw their children from the School – a term’s full fees will be payable without exception if the required notice is not given.

 

Community Award – Bursary Fund
Applications are welcome for any child who would be eligible for entry from Reception to Year 6 inclusive, as of 1st September each year.
All applicants, irrespective of age, will be required to take an academic assessment at the School.
The Community Award is subject to a financial means test and will be assessed on case by case basis. The Community Award is reviewed annually.
The Community Award follows an applied matrix and is approved at the discretion of the Governing Body.
