Gospel and British Values

Shared values are vital to any group of people.  They inform our thoughts, words and actions; they facilitate growth and development; they help us create the future we want to experience.  Everyone is involved in making decisions every day – those decisions are a reflection of our values, and the deliberate choices focus on what is important to us.

When values are shared at St Pius, they generate a genuine feeling of family – where we not only bring our energy and enthusiasm for personal success, but also our commitment to the well-being of others.

There are two sets of values which are fundamental to everyday living at St Pius:

Gospel Values

Loving God and neighbour through –

  • Gratitude
  • Openness
  • Service
  • Peace
  • Equality
  • Life

British Values

All school are asked to promote –

  • Democracy
  • The Rule of Law
  • Individual Liberty
  • Mutual respect and Tolerance
